We stayed at Staybridge the first week in August. The great customer service began before we even checked in. I called to get directions from the interstate and the front desk agent couldn't have been more clear and helpful. He checked us in early without a complaint and gave us great recommendations for lunch in the surrounding area.
The room is a mini-suite with a small kitchenette as well as a sitting area, bed area and bath. The room was very clean. We were very impressed with it, particularly for the price. Our room was at the end of a hallway and it was quiet, very quiet. We were pleasantly suprised with how quiet it was and as a consequence, ended up sleeping more than we thought we would. Most hotels are so noisy that you are woken up whether you want to be or not. This one, peace...The location is great too. Near the high-end shopping but tucked away so there is not too much congestion on the roads to get there.
The breakfast is another feature that is a great offering. The hot selections include eggs and sausage as well as a make-your-own waffle. There are a variety of cereals, fruits, and breads. We filled up at breakfast and did not need lunch. It was a great money saver for us. Best part, you could have sodas with breakfast. As a non-coffee drinker, I really appreciated having my morning Diet Coke!
The pool and basketball court looked great, but we didn't get a chance to use them. Definitely will return to the Staybridge when we return to Austin.
