We booked based on TripAdvisor reviews which were accurate. We were upgraded to a King Suite on arrival for the first night and allowed to stay there even though our original reservation was for a smaller suite.

Staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Yes, it is a little crowded in the breakfast area and the business centre is tucked behind a wall, but these are minor issues. The suites are large, clean, quiet and comfortable. The hotel has excellent parking, easy access to expressways and downtown, and is very convenient to the Arboretum and a Whole Foods. There is a decent fitness centre with a free laundry located behind it. An added advantage is that two good restaurants - North by Northwest and The Iron Cactus - are right next door about a 2-minute walk away.

We would absolutely stay here again when visiting Austin.

We booked a night here after reading the raving reviews on TripAdvisor. Was actually not that impressed with the hotel. The rooms are spacious, but a little dreary. The bed was quite comfortable. We were not impressed w/ the breakfast - this may be b/c the hotel is undergoing renovations and when you enter, are greeted by a big black board that displays this fact. Overall, okay stay but probably wouldn't stay here again for the amount we spent.

Vice nice place and good value. Clean, quiet and good locale for Austin Arboretum activities. One bedroom suite was spacious. Will use this facility again for sure.

My wife and I spent three nights at the Staybridge Suites the second week of November. It lived up to all of the positive reviews. The service was very good, it is in a convenient location, and the buffet breakfast offered a varied selection. The people were very helpful and the rooms and grounds were very attractive. The one bedroom suite was spacious and the bed was comfortable. It was nice to have two televisions and a good selection of channels to choose from.
It is a good value for the money.

We stayed at Staybridge the first week in August. The great customer service began before we even checked in. I called to get directions from the interstate and the front desk agent couldn't have been more clear and helpful. He checked us in early without a complaint and gave us great recommendations for lunch in the surrounding area.

The room is a mini-suite with a small kitchenette as well as a sitting area, bed area and bath. The room was very clean. We were very impressed with it, particularly for the price. Our room was at the end of a hallway and it was quiet, very quiet. We were pleasantly suprised with how quiet it was and as a consequence, ended up sleeping more than we thought we would. Most hotels are so noisy that you are woken up whether you want to be or not. This one, peace...The location is great too. Near the high-end shopping but tucked away so there is not too much congestion on the roads to get there.

The breakfast is another feature that is a great offering. The hot selections include eggs and sausage as well as a make-your-own waffle. There are a variety of cereals, fruits, and breads. We filled up at breakfast and did not need lunch. It was a great money saver for us. Best part, you could have sodas with breakfast. As a non-coffee drinker, I really appreciated having my morning Diet Coke!

The pool and basketball court looked great, but we didn't get a chance to use them. Definitely will return to the Staybridge when we return to Austin.
