“Excellent place to Run.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

I love Austin. Its probably one of my favourite places in the US. The enlightend view that the city takes to creating useful amenities ( pools, trails, parks) is one of the reasons. Things that I like about the trail 1) It's Safe, well lit and signposted. 2) You have fellow runners to compete with!

“A must when visiting Austin”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

full of people and dogs on a Sunday morning but plenty of room and fun. Boating available and great people watching opportunities.

“Scenic”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

Really nice place to take a walk, or a more serious exercise route. The trail along the river is nice and wide, and there are dogs everywhere (but people are pretty diligent about picking up after their pets). Some cool statues and landmarks to see along the way, and a gorgeous view of downtown Austin.

“The best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

The Hike and Bike trail is a wonderful place to run or walk. It is a safe place where you can walk a 3, 6 or 10 mile loop! Great scenery too!

“Much to see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

Very pleasant. Wide enough for bikers and walkers and runners, of which there are many. Fun to watch the dogs run loose in the dog park. Enjoyed the water stops! Thanks! Much to watch as you are getting some exercise.
