“Love Presidential Libraries”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2014

I love Presidential libraries so this was a good stop. LBJ got mired in the nasty war and it shaded his achievements. It is good to remember the War on Poverty and the Civil Rights Act. He was a great man and it is a pleasure to see his legacy remembered.

“First presidential library!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2014 via mobile

This was a great step back into history for me. I was impressed with the way that LBJ's history was unfolded in this library/museum. It was a fun experience with my friends. Not the most "action packed" of excursions, but we were all surprised with how great of an experience it was!

“LBJ Library has lots to see”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2014

I liked the library with the personalized phone calls, hall of presidents and their wives or daughter and the timeline. This was worth the visit but I REALLY liked his ranch out in Stonewall, TX where you get to see where he grew up, went to school and his Western White House.

“Excellent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2014

We visited the library last year when it was under construction and thought it was good, but now it's great. The way they have it laid out flows really well. I truly enjoyed learning about all of the bills, etc that he was responsible for and reading the hand-written letter from Jackie Kennedy to LBJ. It was a very personal letter and was contradictory to the negative things you always hear that the Kennedys said about LBJ. Excellent shop as well.

“More interesting than expected”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2014

Though not a fan of LBJ, the library was a time capsule of the era in which LBJ served as president. It included many glimpses of life during that tim period. Worth the time to go there!
