You know the soup nazi on Seinfeld. This is the sandwich nazi of Austin. I used to like the place (and tolerate the owner) until he was massively rude to a friend. The sandwiches are perfectly fresh, if ordinary, made much as you'd make them with a nice selection of cold cuts and cheese and bread in your own kitchen. They are made memorable by the sweet nostalgia of the old wooden floored grocery store. I only wish it were in the hands of a kinder gentler soul who knew how to catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.
