From my room I could see down sixth street. The air hums from 10pm until well after 1am. If you love music...this is the spot for you.
My room was spacious, the bed was a sleep by number and VERY comfortable.
The room was well appointed. Breakfast on the 18th floor was worth the price. Happy hour in the bar was great. I loved the experience. Next year...sime time same place.
Parking is a bear...$25.00 a night. but it sucks everywhere in that district.

Good hotel, great location, nice staff, decent restaurant. Don't be fooled by the pictures of the hotel pool. It's maybe 4'X4' with a tiny deck. Not even worth packing a bathing suit.

The staff, while polite, was unprepared to answer basic questions about mass transportation, schedules for tourist destinations, or local events. The valets struggled to secure taxis or even transportation to the airport.

If you are going to be in Austin for a conference and are just looking for a place to sleep with a decent breakfast buffet, this is the hotel for you. If you are looking for someplace with a pool and a staff that will help you get the most out of Austin, go to the Hilton or Crowne Plaza instead.

We came to Austin for the music. The only good thing about the hotel is that it is in a good location to some cool bars on 6th street. The rooms are very small, at least ours was, bathrooms have very little counter space and the towel racks are inside the shower!
They say they have a swiimming pool. but 3 strokes and you're at the other side! It's also not heated and was cold as ice. The jacuzzi didn't have working jets or bubbles but they said sorry that's just the way it is. They also charge 25$ a day, yes a day, to park your car. During check out we noticed they charged us for 2 days when we only had the car for one. This was also the case for 2 other people in line. Right before our shuttle arrived they attempted to throw us in a cab suggesting they're getting kickbacks from a certain independent cabbie and then proceeded to insult me to the shuttle driver. If you do stay here, check your check out receipt. They will attempt to rip you off!

Nicely located hotel offering easy access to everything Austin has to offer. Be aware that even on the 12th floor, where our room was located, you will still experience road and club noise.
