“Beautiful and stately Capitol”

If visiting Capitol buildings is your cup of tea, this one is not to be missed. In typical Texas fashion, the Texas Capitol rotunda is the tallest in the land (including the US Capitol building), and the facility and grounds are beautifully maintained. There's a large, newer annex, where much of the committee work is done. Texans are very proud of their history, and the Capitol in Austin is a great place to spend a little time learning about it.

“Full of History. Beautiful Architecture”

A must see in Austin. The Capitol is kept in perfect condition and features some of the most important works of art in Texas. The Architecture and engineering leaves nothing to be desired, and it's free to visit. Try to take one of the free, guided tours if available.

Took a stroll through the Capitol grounds. Great place to walk on a warm day and take in some history.

Always nice to see the Capitol building. if you have not been, you should try it at least once. They have guided tours and self tours. you can always stop in to see your representatives.

Great visit for family and friends. Lots to see inside the capitol. Go into the chambers and don't miss the Governor's office.
