“lots of fun!”

We have a condo there. It works well for our family. Lots of watersports and cool funky places to eat. Check it out!

“Gorgeous year round”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2013

I cross this lake several times a year...the parks along it and walks you can't get anywhere. The homes are gorgeous that line on the sides. The boating up and down for offices, parties are to die for. Enjoyed it tremendously.

“SUP?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

Rented a stand up paddle board out on Town Lake last May and had a blast. An hour's rental was only $15 and it was so relaxing and scenic, very zen-like.

I don't have the best balance (as I'm pretty tall and have a weird center of gravity) so I fell off when I first got on, like I knew I would, but after that minor slip up, I was off and running. The water is very tranquil and SUPing makes for a great afternoon. Highly recommended.

“What makes us special”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

One of Austin's most obvious gems, and a top place to visit - or come regularly if you live here. From dawn 'til after dark the trail is populated with people walking, running, and biking. Few are the days that Austin's weather keeps folks home. The trail represents the city: healthy, beautiful, and persevering.

“It's actually Lady Bird Lake now!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

This area is like Central Park in New York, Austin Style! I've never seen so many fit people out and about in one place in my life! The scenery is amazingly rural for a place that is in the heart of downtown Austin. Unless you can see the skyline through the trees, it's easy to forget you're in a city at all!

There is a 10 mile path around the lake with a lot of opportunity to make your hike as long or as short as you'd like with bridges and other walking/running/biking amenities along the way. Great for dogs and kids, SUP and kayaks too!
