Right now I've used this hotel a couple of times, I used to stay in other hotels in the area but never found anything really good. I was doing a research by internet and this hotel was suggested to me , My thoughts were that for the price it was going to be a bad experience, but I was grateful surprised. Good bathrooms, bed was comfortable, silent AC/Heather, free fast wireless. Probably the only thing that I would change is the service from the employees, nothing really bad but not good either.

Sometimes when you think of Ramada, it can have low-end vibes. But not here. Although in the midst of an interior renovation, it is still a fine place to stay. The people are very pleasant and personable. They can do some faxing for you, as well as they also have stamps available. Wi-Fi is provided for the rooms/lobby, and there is also an internet terminal and printer available in the lobby. They also have a small room where you can access soft drinks, limited food and personal items.
The rooms are of an average size, but most everything you need. Full sized bed with 4 pillows, the beds are comfortable. Not too hard or sort. The temperature is controlled by a thermostat, and the wall unit is quiet. Doesn't come on like a blast furnace. Towels are of high quality, nice thickness. My room had a refrigerator and microwave, however not all rooms have this. In room coffee pot brews 4 cups, not one. Which I particularly like. And there is 24 hour access to coffee in the lobby. One downside is that the room only has one phone, and it is on the work desk. So if you ask for a wake up call, you have to get up to turn it off. But that may also be an upside in that you're actually up, not just rolled over in bed.
The breakfast has waffles, breads, biscuits and gravy, ham and sausage, scrambled eggs and potatoes, plus some yogurt. The only fruit I saw were some oranges.
The fitness center has a well worn treadmill, stair climber, and sitting bicycle. There is a 42" tv in the room as well.
Nice bonus is the manager's reception. I believe it is a Monday thru Thursday reception. From 5:30 to 7:00. Beer, wine, cocktails, soft drinks, chips and salsa.
If you are on foot, your dining options are limited. There is an IHOP about 1-2 blocks away, and a mexican fare restaurant about 4 blocks away. There is a Wendy's and Panda Express close by, but you need a car because of the street dividers. I stopped at a grocery store and picked up some things to microwave. The Ramada is sandwiched in between a Marriott courtyard and another low end motel. The location is quiet and safe. I will make it a point to stay there next time I am in town.
