“Great hotel for the price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013 via mobile

I stayed at this hotel every other week ( sometimes 2 weeks in a row) for 3 months in early 2012 for work training. It was conveniently located 2-3 minutes from the office building I would be at. The front staff were always friendly. Check-in and check-out was always easy. Being a member of their loyalty program I received a small goodie bag at check-in each week. Every Wednesday night while I was there the hotel had food brought in. A few I remember were sub sandwiches, pizza, Mexican just to name a few. They also provided drinks with Wednesday nights dinner (which included beer). Every day when returning to the hotel after work there would be fresh cookies in the lobby. They were also so soft and chewy! The hotel does offer free breakfast...it's ok. You have your typical cereal and milk, yogurt, bananas, boiled eggs, pancake machine that would make 2 pancakes at the press of a button, bagels, cinnamon rolls, eggs, bacon, toast, milk, water, apple juice, and orange juice. It wasn't the best, but it was free. There were only a few days when the pancake machine wasn't working. The rooms were nice. They were modern and up to date with flat screen tvs. The bathroom was very small with the vanity right outside of the shower/toilet area. There was a full length mirror that was very handy. I stayed in several different rooms and the beds all seemed to be pretty comfy. The rooms were kept clean. I think one room had a broken tile in the bathroom area and one room had a section of carpet that was starting to come up. Otherwise they were good. Each room I stayed in had a separate living area with its own tv, couch, and chair. The rooms also have a mini fridge and coffee maker. Some days I chose not to have my room cleaned, but most days it was cleaned and I never had a problem with it. If ever in the area again for training I would stay at this hotel again.

Comfortable King suite with 2 flat screens, microwave, fridge, coffee maker with sink. Separate sitting area with sofa bed, desk and chair. Free wi-fi; free breakfast; free coffee and cookies. Used our AARP discount, too. Only complaint was freeway noise. Perhaps rooms on the west side are quieter.

there is nothing really wrong with the hotel, just there is nothing really right. It is really very "fair" to low. It seems really tired with lots of scrapes and worn carpet and needs paint and sprucing up. Even the elevator creeks and rattles to a stop. The room is average and when inside has a little bit of "old" smell. Noticed when the maid cleaned the room she sprayed several squirts of room freshener before she left. The bed seems old and you feel a little bit like "who slept here last night". Pillows and sheets seem old and just not fresh and clean. You have to dig for plugs to charge the phone and like I said, adequate but not somewhere I would go back to. Best part is front desk folks were very pleasant. Breakfast wanted to be good but highly processed taste to eggs, etc. Anyhow, if you need to stay there it will be ok, but I would not go there by choice.

Found the check-in to be very easy and Michael the clerk on duty was very helpful. We enjoyed having a separate sitting area with a second TV in that room.. Included a fridge, microwave and wet bar area with the standard coffee/tea set-up. Only thing is the sink
was separate from the bathroom area so make it a little different when getting ready.
On Wednesday nights they have pizza for their guests. Breakfast area was nice & well
maintained. Definitely would stay there again and do recommend it to others.

This hotel, like many other Holiday Inn Express locations was convenient, inexpensive and upheld the same level of quality I have become accustomed to from hotels of its kind.

The staff was great.

The room was excellent (two separate areas, one living, one sleeping) and very clean.

I had zero problems and would definitely stay here again if I had the need to be in the area.

Room Tip: If possible, get a room by the elevator, they are on the front of the hotel and allot you the abilit...

I had higher expectations for this hotel. Here are the positives and negatives:

Positive: Relatively clean, friendly service at the front desk, good rates, beautiful lobby/kitchen area

Negatives: The room was a weird mess. For example, the lamps were crooked, the bathroom door barely shuts due to the fact that it hits the toilet, there was a small hole above the bed, the furniture looked really dated, used, and abused, the toilet paper, paper towels, and kleenix all had cute folded shapes; however, they all looked half used (i.e., the rolls were not new, etc.), and there is a lot of noise due to the location right off the highway.

While everything appeared to be clean, the weirdness of the room did not give me the confidence that it was in the best shape. I was nervous about touching anything.

I was in a pinch and needed a decent hotel and this fit the bill just fine. I had shied away from staying at Holiday Inn because they allowed smoking in the hotel. To my surprise they have now banned smoking in the rooms and in the hotel. The room was warm and inviting, the room could use a touch up on the paint as there were scuff marks all over. This was a suite so there were separate living room and sleeping areas. The staff was very pleasant and worked hard to accommodate my request of top floor away from the elevator/noise as I was traveling with an infant. The beds slept well and there was a refrigerator and microwave near the bar area. WiFi is free! They offered a little breakfast in the morning that was very popular with the guest, pancakes in 30 seconds was a hit! Easy to get to off I-35 and about 20 minutes to the airport. I would stay here again in a pinch, but just for 1 night.

Room Tip: This hotel is just off the highway. Please choose a top floor for a good nights sleep.
