This was my first time staying at this hotel for business. I have stayed in Austin many times for business and was always to close to downtown or too far. This location was great, close enough downtown to enjoy the festivities. The staff was great and friendly. Nice options with the breakfast. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. I would definitely recommend this room and would stay again for business or leisure.

I have stayed many times at Hampton on Governors Row and have not experienced any problems at all. Parking is free and so is complimentary breakfast. Staff is always very friendly and the motel location is very accessible to stores, restaurants, etc. I will continue staying at Hampton every time I need to go to Austin which is pretty frequently. Thanks.

Excellent! The staff was very helpful and the service was excellent. I have no problems with this location. I really don't know why I have to write something here when I gave excellent ratings to all of the questions. You, actually the staff at the location, did a great job.

My wife and I wanted to stay in South Austin for the evening. This is the cooler part of Austin. The hotel room was super clean. They even wash the duvet covers daily! The only problem is that the A/C controls in the room were controlling an old in room unit. This thing never stopped blowing. It was ok during the hot day in Austin, but it got too cold at night. We changed the temp 4 degrees warmer and it triggered the heater to come on. The smell from the heating units then set off the smoke detector in the room, AT 4AM! I know never to touch the controls in the room again.

Room Tip: No view of South Austin is great if you are facing east. West faces a freeway. North is the city...

This was our first visit to Austin and this hotel was the perfect location for all of the sites we were interested in visiting. The staff was very helpful and even provided us with directions to recommended restaurants. We will be staying here again!

Nice hotel located in a business park (comfy rooms and pretty lobby area). Staying here really depends on your purpose.

My purpose was an early flight, in which case, was not the best choice. There is a Hampton Inn closer to the airport, that has its own shuttle. The shuttle for this hotel is a service that stops at other hotels in the area, so its not the most direct route.

On the bright side, if the airport is not your reason, consider this hotel. Its not too far (driving distance) from the trendy areas of Austin, and obviously close to the businesses in the industrial park.

A little more home work will help you pick the best hotel for your needs.

Nothing you have to say has ANYTHING to do with the hotel. If the cab service was late, that's the cab service. If you didn't pay attention to WHERE the hotel you booked was located, that's on YOU. There's a thing called the internet where you can EASILY look things like this up.Apart from that, EVERY time I've stayed here, they have been SURE to let me know that it is recommended to book a shuttle AT LEAST 2 hours before your flight, this is standard procedure. YOU choose to be careless, unorganized, and lackadaisical about your trip, and the fault for these things all falls on you, not the hotel you stayed at. Get a grip on life, and learn how to make plans like a grown up, instead of expecting to be babied. You probably wanted Rebecca to cut up your breakfast for you too, hmmmm?
