On a quick overnight we decide to book here to be close to everything in Arlington. This Courtyard is walking distance to the baseball and football stadiums, and several restaurants. Not far from UTA and about 15 minutes to the airport.

Room was nice sized, regular sized bath. Hotel would be fun for a group - lots of places to gather socially - inside and out. Updated recently enough to be pleasant.

Had breatkfast in the lobby (not included). There is a lobby bar as well. Work out room was a good size. Many computers in the lobby for guest use.

We would stay again.

Room Tip: I would pick a ground floor room facing the courtyard. Little patio right outside would be nice for...

If this motel/hotel was a book you would never finish it. Reason...boring. For $135 a night you would expect some pizzazz. Forget it with this joint.

Pro - Fantastic location for Rangers/Cowboys stadiums. Can see both if you have a south side room with walking time to both of about 15 minutes. Seems like a safe neiborhood to stroll in. Has a trolley stop at front entrance for those who prefer to ride. 5 restaurants within easy walking distance. Rooms are clean and functional with comfy beds, however, lack atmosphere. Also, Six Flags/Hurricane Harbor are within a very short drive and are visible from front entrance.

Cons - Noisy air conditioner...no 24 hr coffee...no microwave...no complimentary morning paper...no lotion/mouthwash (only shampoo/conditioner)...no free breakfast (MC has gone to a Bistro concept which gives you a lounge area along with a casual short order grill).

Building's appearance tends to make me think this is an older establishment that was purchased by Marriot...just my perception.

So, average is average...nothing more/nothing less.

NO MINI FRIDGE, MICROWAVE OR PHONE BOOK! Really in this day and age? Staff was efficient, rooms were clean. For the money, won't stay here again.

Thank you for your review! We have mini-fridges and microwaves available based on request, and we try our best to accomodate these. We do not keep phone books in our rooms anymore, but directions, phone numbers, etc. for local establishments can be found on our touch-screen Go-Board located in the lobby. Thank you for your stay!

Stayed here for a 5 day/4 night vacation. Chose the hotel because it was a Marriott and was located very close to the Texas Rangers Stadium. There were three of us, so we stayed in a king-sized room with a fold-out bed. The room was extremely small and the closet was tiny. The channels on the TV were extremely limited and didn't even have a pay-per-view option. They were painting the outside while we were there, so I can't say they don't try to keep the place maintained. However, this location is way beneath the standard that I've grown to expect when staying at a Marriott. Definitely not worth the money! Next time we'll stay at a different hotel and drive to the Rangers Stadium.

My husband and I and our 6 year old son recently stayed at this hotel. It's a very nice, modern hotel, and nicely furnished. At check in, I asked the desk clerk the cost of a one bedroom suite and when he told me the price, I said that we would just keep our original booking (regular room). He looked at his system and then told us he would give us a suite for the same price! I was so impressed that we were getting a free upgrade without asking for it! Our suite was very nice, clean, and quiet, with a king size bed in the large bedroom. Our son was so impressed with the pool which featured a plastic curtain to separate the indoor pool from the outdoor. There was also a sunken hot tub, which he loved. The hotel is conveniently located near the baseball stadium, so my husband could easily get to a Rangers game. I definitely recommend this hotel for your next stay in Arlington. It is well worth it.
