I have never delt with such a noise level in a hotel, or even cheep motel in my life. I dont understand how one would run a hotel and a supposed nice hotel like they do. The night we were there, their were parties going on that had the music so loud at midnight, that we had to move from our room twice to the nineth floor and it was still terribly loud. So then finally at 2 they shut it down and then there is a milion honks foom cars trying to get out of their parking lot, i didn't get to sleep till after 3. I had to drive home the next morning 5 hours very tired to the point it was probably not that safe for me to be driving. Oh i forgot that the guests on the third floor had kids that were running and yelling up and down the halls also after 12. And the people we were put next to on the nineth floor were drunk and loud, and ended up waking me up again at 6 for being increadably loud!! Save your money and go else where, that is unless you dont care to sleep at your hotel. I have never staied in a Hilton before and i will never again, cause seems to me their as trashy as Paris herself.

I had to go to arlington on business. I needed a hotel near the convention centre and this fitted the bill. The other hotels higher up the list on trip advisor are what I would call upscale motels but I needed a real hotel with hotel facilities.
Location: close to local attractions and convention centre. Hotel shuttle bus operates in a three mile radius thus saving money on cabs- the local area is not really set up for walking.
Accomodation; excellent rooms, superb beds. Walls are a bit thin if your neighbour decides to wash their clothes at 5 am.
Facilities; useable gym being upgraded, unheated pool ( a bit cold), business centre (only one online computer)
Food; only used for breakfast- very good buffet and they will cook your eggs fresh for no extra charge
service; very helpful and very polite
Dining : I highly recomend the saltgrass restaurant across the road. Brilliant steak, superb baby back ribs and excellent prime Rib. The local beer is good as well; great food and good value
if I have to go to Arlington again I would book this hotel without question

I stayed at the Hilton Arlington at Christmastime, when some of our family refused to stay at a hotel and insisted on taking over my room at home. The rooms were quite large and spacious, and the beds were very, very comfortable. The staff was friendly enough, and the parking was free. This hotel is close to the Ballpark, Arlington Convention Center, Six Flags, and Hurricane Harbour, if you're coming for the attractions. The area surrounding the hotel is a bit dicey late at night, but it's perfectly fine during the day.

I stayed at the Hilton for three nights while visiting the Dallas area on business. I found the hotel very easily accessible and close to many restaurants and a large mall. The rooms were large and clean. The staff was outstanding. We asked the front desk staff a lot of questions to find out the best places to visit while we were in town. They were very patient and helpful. The work out room was small but very accessible with a television. The pool was nice but it was a little cold to swim. This hotel is located about 30 minutes outside of Dallas, down the road from the baseball fields and across the street from Six Flags.

“BAD EXPERIENCE”

Booked a non-smoking room. Got into room and the smell of cigarette smoke was clearly present (the whole property looked to be non-smoking so perhaps it had been a past smoking room). I called the front desk to see if we could move and the clerk told me that was not possible (I knew this was incorrect as just minutes before I had heard a clerk asking a guest which room of several he had wanted). So, I went down to the fron desk and got moved to a different room.

So many problems and difficulties with the shuttle service to Six Flags and the ballpark to list. However, if you are staying there when one of the visiting baseball teams is staying there as well, you might as well forget about getting anyone to shuttle you anywhere because you are not one of the big-tipping ballplayers.

Finally, the club in the hotel gets wild and crazy on Friday and Saturday nights. Was awakened on a couple of occassions by the Arlington police arresting club patrons for what appeared to be DWI and possible possession of little baggies of white stuff.....hmmmm.

Bottom line is run away from this hotel. There are better in the area.
