“Great service, decent food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2012

Went to Cokers because Dave's was closed on Mondays. Meat was very tender, but not steeped in BBQ sauce, all you can eat dinner was a great value and the staff was great and accomodating. Recommend the pulled pork. Worthy of note: they serve no alcohol but allow you to bring your own.

“BestOokra and Mac and Cheese”

Don't like the smoking section but love the food. Also have some pecan pie cobbler and banana pudding!

“A blast from the past...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2012

The food is good and the service is very attentive. The only comment I will make about this restaurant is that they still have a smoker's section! What a blast from the past in a smoke-free city! They lose a star for me because of this. Very good prices. The BBQ is good but I like David's BBQ better.

“Outstanding BBQ and AWESOME People!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2011

One of the best BBQ ribs and briscuit I have had! Don't even think about passing on the cobblers for desert! Wonderful little place that "smokes" the competition!

“fantastic.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2011

they claim to have the best Ribs in Texas. I haven't tried all of the rib places in Texas yet, but Coker's is definitely on the top of the list. drip off the bone , tasty ribs! I tried the rib basket.
Don't do it! it's nothing but a tease! once you've had a taste, you can't get enough. the corn on the cob that came with it was fresh out of the pot. as good as home cooked. I had enough room left for their cherry cobbler. it was literally the icing on the cake. The staff were very friendly and attentive ( I went at a quiet time, only 3 family's were having lunch at the time).
The place is clean and nicely decorated with Coke-cola memorabilia. The first impression of Cokers comes to you in the parking lot; the smell of a real wood fire pit/smoker.
