I happened upon this little gem by chance.
It is located a few miles west of Jerry World (Cowboys Stadium), The Ballpark in Arlington, & Sixflags, and right across from the UTA campus, in a old remodeled home.
Before you even enter you can smell the pizza sauce which is pretty amazing and get the mouth watering. The seating is a bit off & odd, but there are plenty of TVs and the old wood floors and furniture give it a more northern feel. Behind the bar resides a very generous selection of beer from local to fine imports to craft beers you wouldn't expect to find. The bartenders have always been extremely nice and allowed me to sample more than my fair share.
The service was prompt though it is seat yourself, someone is there immediately with a menu and ready to take your drink order.
The food as mentioned in the title is some of the best pizza in Arlington if not the DFW as a whole. The pizza I ordered was more of a deep dish Chicago style. It had great ingredients and was piping hot. The cheese is fresh and generous, and cooked just perfectly. The dough holds up to the toppings while not being overly dense. The sauce hold a wonderful balance of sweet and salty. A individual pizza can easily feed one hungry person, and a medium can feed 3 people. I have not ordered the large to comment on its size.
The price is very reasonable as well. With happy hour specials every day, and pizzas for under $10.
All in all this a top notch place and worth a visit when in town with the family, or with some friends to watch a game.
