Sprouts is a small family owned restaurant in Lincoln Square. The decor is contemporary Asian with some booths and tables for large parties. If the restaurant is full when you arrive, you usually don't have to wait long to be seated. The service is friendly and efficient. Sprouts offers the usual range for a pho restaurant. The spring rolls are fresh and full of veggies. They are accompanied by a delicious peanut sauce. The chicken pho has a nice rich broth with bean sprouts, sliced jalapenos and fresh basil on the side. I get the regular sized bowl since the large bowl is huge. There are also rice and vermicelli dishes. The chicken in the vermicelli dish seems to be processed, but is good just the same.In addition, there is a large drink menu including boba teas and fruit smoothies. One nice touch is the chocolate mint at the end of the meal instead of a fortune cookie. You can't go wrong having a meal at Sprouts when you are in the area.
