“Needs a fresh coat of paint!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

We bought season passes for the family and while there were more small kids rides than I expected this park needs a major face lift. The prices for the season passes seemed reasonable especially since we paid a little extra for Hurricane Harbor.

“Fun times”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

Me, my dauther & neice went to Fright Night, during Halloween. We had a blast. Although the lines were extremely long, we enjoyed ourselves. It's best to go early so you can have time to ride all the rides. Because the lines are usually a hour are so long.

Although the rides are free it's pretty expensive to get in & the food is not cheap either. Overall if you are here on vacation it's a must go for the kids.

“Always good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

Six Flags are always good. I think one reason for this is that they built very scary, unique rides and the thrill doesn't get old. I'll bet many people, especially kids of all ages go back again and again for that very reason. At least for rides, I think Six Flags definitely can compete head to head with Disney.

“Six Flags over Texas”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

The family went to Six Flags Over Texas for spring break. The first day in the park was fantastic. The day started out a little rainy so we went to the JFK museum first. The rest of the day at Six Flags was great because the rain kept the crowds away and we were able to ride everything with no lines. The kids enjoyed the day. The next day was not rainy and spent a long time just getting into the park. The kids took a look at the lines and didn't want to ride anything. We forced them to ride one thing and it took 3 hours for them to get through the line. Not happy campers when they came out of the ride so that was the end of the day. The park can be fun but not on busy days.

“Six Flags over Texas is not what it used to be about....Family fun.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

If your in town visiting or on vacation. Skip this place. In the end, you'll spend more than it's worth. We purchased a season pass this year. BAD CHOICE! It's a hassle for parking, long lines at check in and extremely long lines for the rides. It's a big park but instead of filling it with many different rides, they have filled it with Food places and gift shops. The food is aweful there.
We used our season pass to go for holloween at the park. NOT IMPRESSED. Same hassle, same lame foods and the special haunted houses that they have are for EXTRA prices. I expect the same for christmas lights at the park. I wouldn't recommend this palce to anyone. There are lots of other places to visit in the DFW area. If you can't find any, let me know. I'll try my best to help you.
