I stayed there long enough for the front desk to learn my name! Rooms are updated and clean. the free laundry on site was nice. I used the grills outside to cook dinner a time or two! Overall nice place and I will return!

Great and helpful staff that helped with everything from where to get tickets to arranging transportation via the shuttle. The location is near Six Flags, the stadiums, etc. Many families were checked in but it was quiet with few distractions. They have a very usable fitness facility which was a pleasant surprise. Well stocked pantry. Cable selection was a bit limited but the internet speed was fast and they had a good movie selection for the DVD player.

Found some last minute tix to Ranger's ball game, needed a place for a couple of nights to finish off vacation. Our usual stay had no available rooms, so we took a shot with Candlewood, very nice surprise. First the bad, no swimming pool, I never get in it, just felt weird about a hotel with no swimming pool. Also both of our rooms were handicap access, no problem, just with all the plastic hardware around, felt a little crammed.
Now the goodies
Supernice staff, very helpful, beds were comfy, new furniture. Area with easy access to six flags, rangers, cowboys!
Not the Ritz, but cost friendly, large rooms, kitchenettes, coffee, microwaves for that midnight snack and a free copy o USAToday!..what's not to like about that?

We needed a place on Arlington and wanted something with a little more room then normal, and a kitchen. We picked the Candlewood. Boy, are we glad we did. Starting out, the place is in a perfect, quiet, location. 5 min.s from Six Flags, water park, Rangers Ball Park, and Cowboys stadium, and anything you would want to eat. But the rooms have a kitchen as it is a extended stay hotel. The best part is that they just went through a total remodel. It is really beautiful inside. New everything from beds to T.V.'s, to the carpet and furniture.
When we checked in, we were met by the most friendly young man behind the counter. He was very helpful and knowledgable about the hotel and area. Thanks Mathew.
A great change to the old regular hotel room. Even though its a extended stay, you can get rooms by the night. You just have to book early and Hope there not sold out. But I would book early as it sounds like they are sold out much of the time. Great Job on this one Candlewood! We will be back.
