“Location ideal, everything else not so much”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012 via mobile

Came to Arlington for Alabama/Michigan game and needed to stay close enough to walk to Cowboys Stadium. It's over a mile but an easy, secure walk. Easy on/off from 360 between 30 & 20, lots of parking. Check in was pleasant and they gave me the Priority Club goodie bag. 3 floors, room was on 3rd and elevator was fine. Room had some minor cosmetic wear and tear but was clean. Mattress was old and needs replacing. My son slept on sofa bed and it was springy. Very tight quarters, little room for luggage and working on laptop. WiFi was good, stayed strong. Outdoor pool is smallish but fun, note that the towels are at front desk and there is no indication of that anywhere. Breakfast was typical HIE but the room is cramped and very hard to keep clean. Also note there is a city entertainment tax.

We had to get two rooms late at night and one of our favorite hotels is the Holiday Inn. So we started by calling here first. Our first impression of this property was the front desk employee. He was very helpful and even lowered our rate lower than the AAA rate. When we arrived it was an easy check in to both rooms. We were given some extras...a few bags of snacks and bottled waters (a perk for Priority Club Members). The rooms were very clean and the beds were great! Holiday Inn Express has some of the most comfortable beds, with the exception of my own, that I have ever slept in. We had good service and a nice clean room. We will return here in the future. We visit Arlington frequently because of work but have never stayed at this location but we will now!

Room Tip: We had to leave before the breakfast room was open but we enjoyed a fresh, hot cup of coffee before...

I stayed here for 4 nights with my wife and 2 kids. The trolley was a deciding factor in us staying at this hotel and we weren't disapponted with the service. Cowboy and Ranger stadium is right down the street and Six Flags is only a few blocks away. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast room was a little crowded but there was plenty of food to go around. The room was also nice and dark (good curtains) which is a plus for late sleepers.

Room Tip: There is an additional access door on the east end of the hotel. If I had a choice I would stay in t...

We want to thank you for your recent trip to Arlington, TX and staying at the Holiday Inn Express. We appreciate your honest feedback, which in turn, will help us train and promote our employees accordingly.

We are happy you enjoyed the transportation to the local venues and that the staff made your stay pleasurable.

I apologize that the breakfast room was too crowded. We have been making an effort to let our guests sit by the pool or opening a second area during our busy season for more room.

Again we want to thank you for you stay and hope you return soon.

I was upgraded to a suite...thanks priority club. Room was nice clean and well cared for. Coffee was hot in the lobby. Goody bag was decent. I do miss the mid west hotels who make hot cookies in the afternoon. Fitness center was adequate and had weights ++ and treadmill was ok. Eliptical was not working properly. Outdoor pool and hot tub was packed this hotel is walking distance from 6 flags. Lots of kids but walls were thick enough that I didnt notice. Humperdinks near by had good food and beer. I would stay here again...Maybe next time it wont be too hot to go to 6 flags (wait i was there for work never mind) . 4am desk clerk was terrible barely acknowledged I existied.

Room Tip: Get a Suite if you can.

The room was nice and clean. The bed was the first thing that I saw and it was so comfortable. I couldn't find the remote for the tv but that is a minor issue. I called the front desk and they had one brought up immediately. The maintenance man was so nice because he also made sure that everything else in the room was up to par. The breakfast was a usual favorite since I love to eat. They had all my favorites with the cinnimon rolls and the biscuits and gravy. After breakfast, I took the boyfriend to six flags for his birthday and it just topped off the entire stay. Thank you for making his birthday so great.

Room Tip: We had a jacuzzi suite, it adds to the romance of a trip

The rooms were ok.... Nothing special! Weird smell in on of our groups room not sure what it was maybe paint or something. Bed was kind of lopsided not sure why?.. Overall hotel was probably a 3 star so it was ok and was a comfortable stay. Very busy hotel with alot of noise this time of year.
