“Great Staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

Very enjoyable stay at this property. There is some construction going on right now, but once completed will be a terrific location to base for all activities in the Arlington area. The staff were terrific and most attentive and the breakfast was more than adequate. The area behind the property is residential to pleasant for a morning walk or run. The only negative is the position of the TV in the room that was so to the right that you had to sit sideways on the bed to view it comfortably. Hopefully, they will remedy this soon.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, we were in town for a Cowboy's game on Thanksgiving Day. The room was small for a "suite" beds were small and we heard people talking in the halls/not well insulated. We could also hear street noise most of the night and we were on the 3rd floor.
The breakfast was really good, nice variety/selection. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, breads, cereals, yogurt, juices, milk, and fruit.

The Springhill Suites in Arlington is a very nice hotel. It was clean and the staff were very friendly. The gentleman who took care of the breakfast area was very nice and was always working on something. He greeted everyone with a smile no matter what he was doing. It was pretty cold out and the heated pool felt good. The only negative is the construction on Lamar which isn't Springhill's responsibility. I bet they want it finished more than anyone. The hotel was well maintained, housekeeping did a very good job each day of our stay and overall the hotel gets a thumbs up.

Stayed here for the Cowboys game. I loved the room and the decor. The fellas at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. We had no issues with our room...breakfast was great! Road construction was very inconvenient...but not the fault of the hotel. Shuttle was a little unorganized, but I think that could be worked out. I will stay here again.

This trip was our forth time to stay to attend the Cowboys on thanksgiving day. Location is great but things have changed at spring hill, the road is still under construction over a year, I realize this is no fault of the hotel. The breakfast in the morning is always good and plentiful.
Now the rest of the story, when we arrived after an eight our drve on Tuesday evening, wifi would not work, called front desk they replied it might work later, then took forever to get hot water in the bathroom.
That night the room got very hoot during the night then better in the morning! We left for the day and upon return found the T V would blink off and on, called the front desk, chief engineer came out and replaced cable , still had problem, said he would adjust box downstairs, said some channels will work!
Called desk again they offered to change room rather then T V. We stayed in room?
Approx an hour later room was hot again, called desk could not help, we are in pajamas they again offered to change room we stayed. Later thi night found bug in bed.
With no exception our 4 trip hare is our last!!!! We hope to return to a more considerate hotel near hear , next thanksgiving for the Cowboys game. The worst experience at a Marriott any time

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay. We appreciate both the positive and negative aspects of your stay. We are sharing the information with our staff to make sure that appropriate training happens to ensure the failures in service do not happen again. We certainly hope to see you back at our hotel for the next Thanksgiving Day Game. Hopefully, the road will be completed by then as well.

My one month stay at SpringHill Suite Arlington, Tx was fantastic. The room is clean and well kept and the staff are wonderful. Special mention are Arlene Justice who kept the breakfast counter well stocked and eating area neat; the maintenance staff, Aaron who ensure equipment in working condition and not forgetting the front desk staff who are so accommodating. Good job guys and I am very thankful.

Our stay here was at best, average. Fortunately we did not spend much time in the room other than to sleep. The room was large, and fairly well-appointed. The bathroom is an awkward shape, and there was no place other than the toilet to put my eyeglasses on. The alarm clock is an iHome, and as such could not be adjusted in terms of the time without a proper Apple interlock. (it was somehow off by 11/13 hours) Breakfast was ok, and there is coffee available 24/7, also a small pot in the room. Putting some tea bags by the coffee packs in room would be appreciated.
There is some road construction outside, and there was not a sign in both directions showing where to turn into the lot. This location is convenient for local theme parks, sports arenas and just getting onto US30. A local attractions/restaurant map would be appreciated.
On the whole, an utterly typical stay.

Thank you for taking the time to send us some of your thoughts on your recent stay at our hotel. We are glad that you were able to take advantages of some of the features we offer. On top of our Texas Sized hot continental breakfast and in room coffee service with any luck you had time to take a dip in our newly remodeled hot tub or heated pool. The City of Arlington should be wrapping up the road construction project in front of the hotel any time now and we know with its completion accessing the property will be less confusing for our valued guests. Our location is great for some of the Dallas Metroplex’s biggest attractions. Hopefully you were able to enjoy some of them while in town! Next time you are staying with us stop by the front desk and ask for a local map with local attractions/ restaurants to ensure you hit all of the Arlington hot spots! Thanks again for your review and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
