We stayed at the La Quinta because of it's convenience to Six Flags, and were very impressed with the hotel. Our room was a two room suite, and was very roomy and spacious. The hotel itself is very pretty on the inside. Everything was in great condition in the room. Contrary to some reviews I've read, the breakfast was good (hey, it's free, you can't complain!). They had sweet rolls, waffles, cereal, bagels, hard boiled eggs, etc.

The hotel is a little pricey, but the convenience factor is worth it. Six Flags charges a lot to park, and the hotel is nice enough to let you stay in their parking lot, even if you've already checked out. We could see the pool from our room, and it looked really nice; we didn't swim in it, though, because we got in too late, and it was probably too cool anyway. The hot tub would have been nice, though!

Overall, it was great, and I'd recommend it to anyone!

The LaQuinta Inn Arlington Conference Center, Arlington Texas...We stayed in the new wing so the rooms had all new carpet and paint and were really nice as were the bathrooms. We did book at this hotel with the expectation that we could use the hotel shuttle as listed but after making a request for pickup to visit Ripleys and told to wait for 30-45 minutes for a call back we received no call back to our room. Upon checking with the front desk staff we were told they didn't know how long it would be before they could pick us up. We gave up on their shuttle service and decided to do our own driving. Upon listening in the lobby and speaking to the shuttle driver it appears they cater to the airport on the shuttle service and everyone else takes a back seat. It is however an easy walk to Six Flags if that is the only place you want to go.

The free breakfast offered was lacking. The only hot item offered was the waffles and other than that there was very little to eat. We only ate there one of the two mornings we stayed.

We booked into this hotel for the convenience of Six Flags. The room was ok, the satff were fantastic but sadly my son caught ringworm during our stay as pets were allowed in the room!!! Also as pets are allowed at the hotel some of there owners are irresponsible and let their dogs foul on the grass right out by the pool were kids play! Unfortunately due to that experience I do not recommend you stay here if you have kids!

By all means this is maybe a 2 star hotel. Very clean just not up to date but they are building the new one just behind and it will be great. We did have great check in and was granted late checkout and the desk people were always helpful and nice.Our needs were met for our stay. Clean towels and linens. Just don't expect much and you will be pleasantly happy. The breakfast was very good. Had the crib we requested.
