Great B&B, would stay again. I would recommend this B&B to all traveler types. Hostess has many interesting stories and a good cook. Welcoming reception and lush gardens. Lots of interesting antiques. Thank you.

The victorian house with immense yard filled with apple trees, gardens, and a koi pond was a charming beginning. Carol was a friendly, cheerful host. Nabil was away on a business project. The room was clean, very comfortable, and decorated in Victorian style. She and Nabil refurbished the house with Carol decorating, upholstering, and even making beautiful stained glass windows among many other beautiful items.

The linens and robes were of excellent quality, the best we have seen in the 133 B & Bs we have visited in this country, Canada, The British Isles, and many European countries. We had the best night's sleep on the most comfortable mattress we experienced on our two-week vacation. I didn't want to get up.

Carol was most accommodating in making a good breakfast while dealing with my many dietary restrictions. She was comfortable; made you comfortable as though you were long-time friends. After breakfast she invited us to watch her feed her koi by hand. It was an amazing experience.

Her gardens were very impressive and her apple trees were so laden with fruit that the branches arched, almost touching the ground. She gave us a bag of apples to make an apple pie.

We recommend Parkview House to other people and would return to stay there.

Room Tip: All rooms are very comfortable with excellent mattresses and plush bathroom linens.

Who would have thought that Amarillo in August would have a cool, green garden space! The Parkview House Bed and Breakfast provided not only a beautiful cool garden space, complete with koi pond, but a quaint Victorian accommodation with all the modern conveniences. Our hosts provided a glass of wine along with conversation about local attractions and called our "Longhorn limo" to pick us up for dinner at the Big Texan Steakhouse. Later in the evening we strolled through the garden again, and in the morning it was even more beautiful. Our breakfast, modestly advertised as "continental" was so much more--baked eggs, sausages, biscuits with marmalade, fruit--and more conversation with our innkeeper. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Room Tip: The rooms are all quiet and furnished in the Victorian style.

I felt more at home than I do when I'm at home! Stayed for several days while on business. The accomodations are absolutely excellent, with a comfortable bed, great decor, fantastic hospitatlity from Carol and Nabil. They hosted several visitors besides myself during my stay. Breakfasts featured special touches like fresh mint in the O.J., fresh fruit served in a variety of unique and delicious ways, even fresh herbs from the garden included in the vegetable omlets. For an overnight or a longer stay, you will be glad you chose Parkview House.

Room Tip: Rooms with private bath are recommended, but robes are provided in case you have to go down the hall...

We found Carol and Nabil to be very friendly and super inn keepers. Our room was beautifully appointed all in keeping with the period of the home. Breakfast was excellent. The gardens are amazing and a must experience. We will stay there again should we be in Amarillo.

What a wonderful house. The decor is warm and homey. Carol is awesome and gracefully accepted my last minute reservation. The kitchen is to die for. Breakfast was lovely, just sitting in the kitchen and talking with Carol as she cooked. Reminded me of home.

A beautiful home, great hosts, a huge and lovely back yard with fishponds and gardens. Nabil and Carol referred us to the "Big Texan" for dinner. We asked, "It's not touristy, is it?" They said, "Yes, it is, but you'll love it." And we did. Limo picked us up (the limo had longhorns on the front). But not before my wife and I had a lovely conversation with our hosts, a glass of wine, and watched as Carol fed the koi in the pond from her hand. If you're traveling through OR to Amarillo, we couldn't recommend this place highly enough. And you just may learn a little bit about helium, too!
