This hotel was the absolute best Ive ever stayed at in Amarillo. It was very clean with nice granite countertops. Tall ceilings made the room feel bigger. Very quiet and comfortable. Pleasent staff. Will definently only stay at this hotel from now on when Im in Amarillo.

Other than not being able to find my confirmation in their system when I walked in... (I had to get on my own laptop and retrieve my confirmation # because I had forgotten my printed copy at home) everything else was pretty good. My kids thought the pool was too small and the breakfast was only from 6am-9am so we didn't get a chance to sample it. As for the room, it was nice having a sink in both the bathroom and the entry area. Refrigerator and microwave were also nice options. Beds were comfortable and had sufficient blankets. The room could have used a little more attention from cleaning staff - outside our door (room 316) it looked like someone had spilled stuff on the wall and it was never washed off. Inside the bathroom door near trash can had also been neglected. Shower bottom was a little dingy looking but otherwise clean.

New hotel about 5 miles south of downtown Austin. Hotel seemed very new, in excellent condition. Nice front desk service. Large room with extra sink, microwave and refrigerator. Everything in order and very clean. Nicely appointed for a budget hotel. Room rate was very reasonable. Good location if wanting to visit Palo Duro Canyon, otherwise, a little isolated from the rest of town. Typical buffet breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon and waffles as well as fruit, toast, pastries. Recommended.

Great location for Palo Duro Canyon, but not much else. The check-in staff was very accommodating, and gave us great directions for restaurants. The room was very nice, and clean, and comfortable, but the rest of the property was not that well kept. Terrible directions from their website, the hotel is actually right off the highway behind a gas station. Their full breakfast was a joke; it did not exist, neither did the waffles. The trash can outside the hotel was never emptied. I would not stay here again, because despite the better location to the Canyon, there was nothing there. We had to drive back up to another exit for restaurants, and interestingly enough, a whole lot more hotels. We had a great rate, but I would still choose another location. This one looked like a location that did not grow like they thought it would.
