Stayed here for just 1 night with a tour group but the rooms are fantastic.no 2 rooms are the same we had the pink one complete with cowhide bed covers,wooden bed heads a shower curtain with the flag of texas on it!total country charm!had dinner in the steakhouse-try and eat the steak if u can its 3.2kg-if u can its free.one of our guys tried and failed.loved this place-it was like being inside a western movie!

We had a nice stay. Drove straight from Nashville, TN to here just because I saw it on here and it was soooo cheesy looking I had to stay here. Check in clerk was very nice, but they said they had 2 reservations for me for some reason. No worries, they took care of it. Room was clean and cheesy. Western decor and swinging saloon doors. We were there a short time, so we didn't get to enjoy the pool but I would have loved to. I think it's a great motel for the price, interesting people working over at the restaurant.

Stayed there after 500 miles of driving through TX summer heat with family and dog, so experience was worse for that. Yet still, for $90, expected far nicer and newer. Décor was very shabby faux western, bathrooms dark, room small, and over hot and noisy room. Have stayed in nicer full service hotels in safer neighbothoods near DC for less, and other motels in Amarillo cost less.

This is so over-the-top Texan that you can’t help but have fun! The décor screams cowboy and the shower curtain proves how much Texans love being Texans (it’s a GIANT Texas Flag). For a taste sensation you must have dinner at the Big Texan Steakhouse, located directly across the parking lot. DELICIOUS!
