My husband had wanted to treat me to a few days away yet near home in a comfortable B&B to get caught up on my rest and writing. In short, it was no treat. Before breakfast of the second day I quickly checked out of the cold, sterile environment eager to return home.

The term Bed and Breakfast is a misnomer in this case as it has none of the usual connotations commonly associated with B&Bs such as warm, inviting, or hospitable. My experience at the Adaberry lead me to believe it best serves the nearby medical community and business folks merely looking for a place to catch a few winks.

Since none can be expected to be all things to all people, perhaps it would be advantageous to the Inn to properly market solely to the business community it appears to serve best so that the average B&B patron wouldn't be misled.

Breakfast was great. The inn was clean. My one suggested would be cloth napkins to add another touch of class.

I went with a group of women that the next reviewer did. It was so great
to have us all together with a central meeting area. We were able to take
long walks in beautiful neighborhoods. There are several rooms decorated in different styles. Should we ever need to be back in the Amarillo area, I hope we stay at the Adaberry again!

Oh, and I had to check in early which SuZanne allowed quite graciously.

Amarillo never seemed like too exciting a place to visit. That all changed when me and my friends stayed at the Adaberry Inn. This was my second trip to the Inn, and all my expectations were met, just as they were during my first visit. SuZanne is an amazing Innkeeper with endless energy and a talent for serving up beautiful and delicious breakfasts. She was so helpful in learning the lay of the land, where to shop for antiques, fabric and clothing. She knew where the best nearby hikes were, and fun places to visit during our stay. Being attentive to a large group of women who took over the entire Inn is not an easy task, but SuZanne handled us all with much grace, humor and professionalism. We got to see all the rooms, and were impressed by the decor and comfortable beds!! I would definitely stay at the Adaberry Inn again - I love the Inn and Amarillo!!

Just can't say enough about the accommodations and hospitality of the Adaberry Inn in Amarillo. This was the second visit for our group of 16 and we had such a marvelous time again! We are a ladies affinity group who gathers annually in ranching areas across the west and this is hands down our favorite hotel. Hotel owner, SuZanne, is always attentive, friendly and eager to help us with our numerous requests. The rooms are immaculate, well furnished and comfortable. We love being able to 'take over' the whole house to enjoy each other's company in a homey environment. I rate this hotel experience next to staying in the home of a dear friend.
