A group of 5 including myself ate at the Longhorn on 8/9/2008 during the ranch rodeo. We finally sat ourselves after about 5 min because nobody would greet us at the door. After sitting for 20 min at the table I finally got up to find our waitor so we could order drinks. We ordered 4 sweet teas and 1 non sweet tea. Ten min later he showed up with the 4 sweet teas, but not the 1 non sweet tea. He saided that he didn't have enough room to carry all five and would be right back. 10 min later he showed up to take our order We all ordered the 16 oz. ribeye's. After he left I waited about 10 more min before I had to go find him again to get the salad plates. Don't forget that my wife still hasn't received her non sweet tea. When our steaks arrived they were all 5 different size steaks and non of them were cooked to order. I asked the waiter if I could have some butter and sour cream for my baked potatoe and he said "yes sir, I will be right back". Ten min later and a cold baked potatoe I went to the kitchen and got my own butter, sour cream, and my wife's tea. The food was horrible and $26 a plate. Torwards the end of the meal the waitor brought our ticket to the table. 4 grown men and one lady sat at the table and yes he gave the ticket to the only female at the table. I thought this was very disrespectful. During one of my trips to the kitchen I heard another table of 2 complaining to another waitor that they had been there for 20 min and still haven't been welcomed. Behind us was another group of about 8 that I personnely knew and they said it took 30 min to get the ketchup bottle. They were very discussed about there expereice as well. We go to Alpine every year for the ranch rodeo and we will never eat there again. Thanks SMS Ranch Stamford, TX
