“Great hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2011

This hotel had everything we could want. The staff is friendly and helpful. Thank you Liz, for your help. Breakfast crew, you're the best. We will certainly return.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2011

The Hampton Inn reviewed well on Trip Advisor, so I booked the room and was glad I did. Extremely clean location located on the west side of Alpine (we thought we'd missed it and almost turned around to head back into town). Well manicured inside and out. Spacious room, big bathroom. Quiet, except for the self-closing doors (they move fast -- get outta the way). A nice view of the mountains from our room, but the storage space facility next door sort of spoiled the scenery. Interior pool in a separate, but connected building was nice (so many hotels with indoor pools have that odd chemical smell). Fitness center was well equipped and uber-clean. They had a self-serve coffee/tea/hot chocolate "bar" set up in the lobby throughout the day and evening and a big spread for the continental breakfast (the food was nothing to write home about, but it was free). The lobby/dining area is extremely spacious, which made it nice when we and a dozen other families hit the breakfast line at about the same time. Wi-fi service was good (you'll need to use the code provided at check-in). Parking lot was well-lit. The only major negative I can report on this facility is its pillows. There were four on my bed, but even with three stacked I felt as though I was resting my head in mashed potatoes.

Recently stayed in Alpine with a group on business and we all stayed at the Hampton. The hotel was nice, clean, comfortable and fresh. The breakfast was good. Typical of most newer Hamptons. I wanted to write this review mainly to comment on the excellent customer service. I did have one small issue and the on-duty manager (Liz ?) was overly helpful and went over and above what I expected to resolve my problem. She is a great representative of Hampton Inn. I would give them my business again in Alpine because of that alone.

The Hampton Inn Alpine is a new, well maintained property. The staff were attentive. We had a package that had been dropped off for us and the staff had delivered it to the room before we arrived.

This is no different from other Hampton Inn's, but for Alpine that's a great option. The property has a nice fitness facility and an indoor pool/hot tub. The breakfast buffet kept full and the staff person was enthusiastic.

Relative to other Hampton Inn's, this property is a bit expensive, but that probably has more to do with the Alpine market than anything else.

Should I need to stay in a hotel in Alpine/Marfa again, I would stay at the Hampton Inn.

The Hampton Inn, Alpine, offers a warm welcome, fabulously spacious and comfortable bedrooms, a nice pool, free business suite and a not too bad breakfast. I really appreciated the wonderful bed and choice of pillows. Breakfast was a little sad. Self service on paper plates and wooden cutlery- a throw away culture that I found hard to conform to. The fresh fruit was wonderful, however, and it's always fun to make your own waffle!

Don't normally do the review writing, only reading. This was worth writing about. Starts with "Jeremy" at the front desk going above and beyond. Ends with comfort cleanliness, and good breakfast. Will only stay here next visit and beyond!

The hampton inn in alpine is a new hotel. Best hotel in alpine as far as i'm concerned. Room's are large and very comfortable. The hotel staff was wonderful. This had to be the cleanest hotel i've ever stayed. They have a small fitness center and a indoor pool. Breakfeast is included.
