Our extended family of 12 flew into DFW and stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Allen for three nights to attend a funeral. We had five rooms, including a suite. The staff and front desk crew were excellent to work with. We utilized the business center several times to print boarding passes, driving directions, etc., borrowed a bottle opener and a flash drive from the folks at the front desk and made extensive use of the large breakfast/lounge area. One of our party flew in one morning and the hotel was able to offer an early check in which was much appreciated. The hotel is in an excellent area for shopping, including the Allen Premium Outlet Mall which is just a few steps away from the hotel. I asked front desk clerk Natalie about the best way to get back to DFW and, with a smile on her face, she volunteered to make cab arrangements for us. Later, when we needed to change the pickup time, desk clerk Katie graciously volunteered to take care of this for us. The front desk people were very knowledgeable about local restaurants, distances and times to various locations, and were very helpful in many ways. All of our rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet (we were on the fourth and fifth floors, and my husband and I always book the top floor to avoid the thumping of junior cheerleaders practicing flips all night or volleyball players gearing up for the next day's games!) Room service was very late one day (mid to late afternoon) but it didn't matter to us, and the hot breakfast and coffee got our group off to a good start in the mornings. A small 'fridge and microwave would be nice in all rooms. All in all, we were very pleased with our stay. Thank you to all of you!
