I wandered over here looking for something different than steak. The restaurant has a nice ambiance to it and the service was pretty good. But first I am originally from far West Texas and know good Mexican food and have also had my far share of Tex-Mex while in the Houston area. The fod itself is actually good, I had the skirt steak with bacon wrapped shrimp and it was tasty. But for $23 I expected more. I had originally wanted the carnitas but it was pointed out that if I knew what they were they were, then it would probrbly not be what I would normally expect in a Mexican restaurant. The chips and salsa were tasty, but the salsa need some kick to it. All in all it was good but I have definitely had better Mexican food for less money.
