Description: Fogo de ChaoR (fo-go dee shoun), is an authentic Southern Brazilian steakhouse. In 1979, FogoR began sharing the gaucho way of preparing meat in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Today, our gaucho chefs still expertly grill each of our 16 cuts of meat and offer you continuous tableside service. We invite you to enjoy the delicious preparations of our gaucho chefs along with our gourmet salad bar, authentic Brazilian side dishes, and award-winning wine list.

“A different kind of BBQ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013

Living in Texas we are have the opportunity to taste some of the best BBQ in the world. Texas BBQ is hot mesquite, oak or pecan coal roasted or smoked meats covered or served on the side of a semihot tomato based sauce. It origins are cowboy meals on the open plains.
The cowboys in Argentina, Brazil & Venezuela also roasted and smoked their meats over hot coals but left off the sauce. Served hot right off the fire/hot coals you can choose from a variety of steaks, chicken, lamb, pork & sausages with a side of garlic mashed potatoes. Roaming gauchos/waiters bring never ending skewered selections of each choice to your table and you are served your selection of one, a few or all the types of meat. You also can help yourself to their huge salad bar.
It's an all you can eat type restaurant chain that adds a little class to the old concept of sitting around a fire and roasting your meats

“Just go and enjoy the food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013 via mobile

Dropped in late without reservation after the Dallas-Denver debacle. This is the place to go if you love meat cooked over fire like it should be. I could go on about the service and food but most other reviewers got it right. This place rocks, go hungry, very hungry.

“All good!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

Our group of 15 had a great meal this past weekend! The staff was able to seat us right away on a short notice reservation. Separate checks were handled so smoothly. The food was excellent and there is a salad bar only option for vegetarians. This is our second meal at a Fogo de Chao and would highly recommend it!
