“Reasonably priced hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

This is a nice clean hotel. The room was clean. My only complaint is that it is a little hard to get to off the loop. It is centrally located, lots of stores and restaurants around. They do serve breakfast, cold cereals, pastries, ect., juices and hot coffee.

We booked this place at the last minute at a good "senior" rate. The room was fine, breakfast was good, and there were several restaurants nearby. On the down side, we had a problem finding the place.

Thanksgiving, family visiting, work, and remodeling at home! phew that was a crazy week! But thanks to this great hotel, my family and I had a great, clean, fun, relaxing place to play with the kids. Loved the breakfast, loved the sleep, and loved the indoor pool!

Room Tip: for the kids, something close to pool is great.

The staff at this hotel was excellent. Everyone we dealt with was exceptional. We were in town for a funeral. We were in and out of the hotel for 3 days at all hours of the day and night and with every encounter, we were met with professionalism. The hotel is updated and the rooms and lobby were clean. There is free breakfast available each morning. We stayed in a double room and there was not a lot of extra space, but it was still very comfortable.

It rained every day we were there. The hotel manager was in the lobby escorting people to their cars and/or allowing them use of an umbrella.

I would definetly stay here again.

This is a decent hotel with great access to alot of amenities. the Abilenen Mall is just a short walk away. There are numerous mid market restaurants in walking distance as well. The hotel decor is updated and current. The front desk manager was amazingly helpful.(black middle aged female) she made my stay comfortable and hassle free. Good property, better associates!

Room Tip: As you walk into the lobby the hall to the right is the quietest..given it is away from the street.

We booked through priceline and I should have printed my request before I hit "BUY" because I never select 2 1/2 star hotels but that's what we got and remember why we never select this level. The hotel was in a good area and convenient but well worn for it's years. The beds were absolutely horrific so no sleep. I don't care where the hotel is if the bed's are the pits, I have to sleep. The A/c blew air but it was definitely not cool enough and we had it on high. So HOT and MISERABLE best describes the stay. The priceline price was about what they sell these rooms for all the time so no deal was had. I'm beginning to become disenchanted with Priceline because they inflate the going room rate to get your bid up, then you discover the hotel they booked you in sells the room for the same price. Not sure if I'll continue using Priceline for long at this rate. Too many disappointments. Hope they are reading this.

Room Tip: No idea - ask if they have decent beds in any of them and an A/C that actually blows cold air.

The room was clean. I only had to talk to the man at the desk to check in on the first night. He was very nice. I stayed 5 nights and never had to ask for anything. I liked that there was a microwave AND a mini fridge in my room. I didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and wasn't very busy.
