This place was awful! Was completely surrounded by gangs when we arrived at 1 a.m. All four sides were literally surrounded by children all the way up to young adults. They would not move to let us thru the dead end street. We finally parked right outside the front door and made quick dash to simply have the clerk move us to a safer location within the Country Inn chain. Even the clerk agreed we should not stay as it was two dangerous (two women traveling alone). A go cart track is adjacent to the hotel property, and two bars are next door. The clerk said parents come to the bars and leave their children outside to roam around the hotel and go cart track. We were moved to the Murfreesboro Country Inn and it was great. People were nice, the place was very clean and we felt very safe. By the way, we were told we would not be charged for any nights at Antioch that our reservation would just be transferred to the Murfreesboro location. My credit card was charged for one night. I called and they said we were charged as a 'no show'. Needless to say, it's in dispute. In Murfreesboro we were told that gangs were forced out of Nashville and settled in Antioch. The locals said if your car is on empty, you do not even stop in Antioch for gas, it's just too risky. Stay away from this place! The lobby looked nice but it is just too dangerous. We felt like we were in a Chevy Chase movie!
