I needed an inexpensive hotel for a couple of nights while visiting relatives in the area. The Country Inn fit the bill. It was adequate but nothing more and I don’t think I would stay there again. The lobby area looked nice and my room was clean but the nonsmoking rooms are located right across the hall from the smoking rooms. The night I arrived the hallway was filled with the smell of smoke and not just tobacco smoke. A group of rather unsavory looking men were going in and out and although there were no problems I didn't feel very safe.
The breakfast buffet was o.k. but would benefit greatly from a little nicer presentation. Except for the lobby area it seemed that no attention was placed on creating a pleasant or attractive atmosphere. If you’re just looking for a bed for the night it will work but next time I need a hotel in this area I will pay a little more for a nicer place.
