This motel is situated between I-24 and some train tracks. Take your pick. I chose to stay on the train side figuring the traffic noise coming from the Interstate would be more constant.
Room 340 was large, seemed clean, and had a microwave oven and a mini fridge. Decor was tired and dated----brown and depressing.
A constant humming noise came from the bathroom that I tried to get used to. But that was the least of my problems next to being awakened at 4:15 in the morning by a train roaring past the motel.
It looked like they had built a wall at the edge of the parking lot to act as a sound barrier between the Country Inn and the train tracks. I don’t want to think about what the noise would be like without it.
There was a sign on the sink in the bath telling me what I would be charged if I stole any of their stuff: $25 for the clock, $50 for the coffee maker, $45 for the hair dryer (there’s a bargain), $15 for a hand towel, etc.
If Priceline puts you into this property at a good price, enjoy the savings and make the best of it.
Otherwise, my recommendation is to stay----away.
Priceline Room Rate: $50
