I stayed there over the Christmas Hoildays. This place is the TOPS....the front desk people are Excellent. Hotel is very affordable, convenient to Interstate, nearby restaurants, shopping, downtown Nashville. Took us only about 10 minutes to get to downtown. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The Maids were very nice & friendly. I would recommend this place for everyone who travels through Nashville and/or plans to stay on vacation.....

Hazardous Stairs

This BW is actually pretty good and did not have any major service complaints. I asked for a second floor room and was granted one however the steps leading to the room are off pitch . One can hurt themselves badly even though the steps are marked in yellow. My companion actually fell and if you do not have the proper footwear you can end up with a twisted ankle.

  • Liked — Location, wireless internet, privacy
  • Disliked — Stairs leading to rom are off pitch and hazardous

Very Nice and Clean

For the price I found the motel to be above average. It was really clean and had a nice fridge/microwave in the room. There was a pool - though I didn't get a chance to use it. I found the mgmt quite helpful. The motel is right next to I-24 and it only takes about 10 mins to get to downtown Nashville. Breakfast was your basic cont. breakfast (cereal, waffles, yogurt, bagels).

  • Liked — Cleanliness, Proximity to Highway
  • Disliked — The immediate area isn't really all that exciting

TERRIBLE

This was a terrible Best Western. We made reservations here because we have had nothing but positive experiences with Best Western in the past but we were very disappointed. The rooms were not clean, the shower clogged up with water up to your ankles everytime you showered, and the staff was not friendly. At checkout we had a disagreement with our bill, because one staff member had quoted us a different rate then we were charged. The employee at the desk could not change it and there were no managers present to do so, he wanted us to pay for it and then call the next day to speak with a manager. This was not an exceptable compromise for us and he finally called a manager on the phone, and had it fixed for us. This whole ordeal took over 30 minutes and delayed our drive home. I would NEVER stay here or recommened this awful hotel.

A great place to stay for Starwood concerts

I first stayed here for the 2004 Ozzfest and last stayed here for the Motley Crue concert. For a place to crash after getting out of a concert at Starwood this place is great. The hotel has a shuttle service for the concert so you can drink and not worry about driving. You could also walk it if you feel like it, not too far but a decent hike.

I usually stay in 4 star hotels but this ones convenience to Starwood is why I stay here when I go to concerts there. The rooms are clean and well kept, on par with some 4 stars I have stayed in and most 3 star. The room size is on par with other hotels and I like the small fridge in the room which is nice to have. There are stores and places to eat real close by.

Its cleanliness is on par with 3 and 4 stars I have stayed in. Personally i think it should be a 2 1/2 or maybe a 3 star if stretching things a bit, rather than the two it has on here. Don't get me wrong though, it is a motel off of the interstate and still has that feel, that might be why it is rated 2 stars. If you want something fancier I would suggest pricelining a 4 star in the city of Nashville. For a concert or just passing through Antioch you could do a lot worse than staying here though. You also don't have all the nickle and diming that the 3 and 4 star hotels do like parking fees, charge for internet service, overpriced snacks in the room, overpriced hotel bar & reataurant, and all the tipping.

All in all I recommend it and plan on staying her eagain in July for the Cinderella/Poison concert at Starwood.
