Hampton Inn (Hilton chain) is usually my first choice (a dozen or more times a year). This property met usual, expected, standards. Would have received "excellent" rating except for some "things" that were less than expected. Assigned 4th floor room (as requested) & room was OK except that there was very weak (no) internet connectivity and there were signs of wear: stain on carpet, shower door improperly hung, etc.
Next day, we were moved to another room, same floor, for better internet connection. Again, a few "little" things. Heater/AC controls not easy to set on "automatic fan" & shower door handle bar was loose (potential dangerous situation when using for support).
OK. I'm being picky but that's what you (I) want to know. Hotel operator can easily fix internet issue - if they wish. Same for general maintenance stuff.
Good value, Great location - easy to downtown & Grand Ole Opry. Staff was pleasantly helpfull. I will return.
Rooms at far end of hall have little to no internet connection. Ask at dsk if internet is important...

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about your stay! I appreciate the nice things you said about our hotel and also the constructive feedback you gave. I'm happy to say that we are currently in the process of putting brand new carpet in all our guest rooms. And we are also working with AT&T, our "Stay Connected" Internet provider, about a way to fix the situation you experienced by being at the end of the hall on the top floor. We definitely want all of our rooms to provide the same level of wifi coverage for our guests. I'm also sharing your review with our staff so the other issues you mentioned can be taken care of as well. Again, thanks for staying with us and reviewing us on TripAdvisor!
