#1, walked in the door, could see several empty tables yet there wasn't anyone to greet us and seat us, or take names. Several people were lined up waiting to be seated. Finally someone came to write down names (no smile, no apology for the wait at the door) and told anyone new that walked in, it would be a 15 minute wait. However, from the time we were seated until we left, there were 2 tables around us that sat empty. #2, our waitress Ashley came and took our drink order. NEVER smiled, no warmth in her voice. She took our food order and then we waited maybe a half hour for breakfast. My husband ordered waffles and she told him their waffle maker was broken and they were waiting on a new one. After all had ordered, I asked for kids menus so my kids could color. They were out of those too. But she didn't offer us any crayons or like another waitress did for her customer, had just regular paper with a drawing on it to color. #3 she brought our food and the couple extras we asked for and then we never saw her again til she brought our bill. I didn't eat much of my food and neither did my daughter but she never offered us boxes to take our food home or asked if there was something wrong with my meal that I didn't eat it. I've been in busier restaurants where customer service has been better than it was at IHOP today. Will be a long time before I go back again.
