“Pleasant stay and great value.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013 via mobile

I stayed here for 1 night on business travel in Aiken. This is a well maintained property and I had a very pleasant stay. My room was clean and my bed was comfortable and cozy. Breakfast was good quality and it's complimentary. Everything worked as it should. For this property tier/category it was a great value.

My youngest daughter and I stayed at this hotel for one night while visiting USC Aiken. We had the pool area all to our self while she played in the pool I was able to work! The WiFi was excellent at the hotel. The staff was excellent treated us great like we were the only guest in the hotel. Only con was the breakfast. There was mold on the bagels and biscuits. Eggs were not thoroughly cooked. I was really disappointed.

I stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Aiken while working in the area. Staff was very nice and helpful. They were always cheerful and willing to help. Hotel is nice, clean, and quiet. Definitely meets the needs of the business traveler. Close to downtown Aiken (which is charming) and nice restaurants. Would definitely recommend to others....the people make it special!

The hotel average price is 100.00 a night and they were booked all 3 nights I stayed there. I stayed at hotels from Miami to New York and I've never had such a high dollar amount held in my card. They hold 250.00 plus the est rate for your stay because its a debit card. This should be explained when making reservations. But if you pay with a credit card they hold 175.00 plus the nihhtly rate which is just ridiculous. What next they start checking your credit to get a room.

I had an over night stay at this hotel this past weekend. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly; especially Cynthia. However, the guest bathroom downstairs was not in working order and the breakfast was awful. There was mold on the breakfast biscut, and the waffle mix smelled very old.
I will not be returning to this hotel if I ever have to stay in Aiken. I paid 89 for my room, but I've paid the same price and gotten a lot more.

Pool looked nice, but I did not get a chance to take a swim.

Room Tip: I stayed on the 3rd floor in the front and it was really quiet

The room was kept clean, liked everything about the Inn, including the accommodations. Staff was friendly. Enjoyed my stay and would rate them five star if not for the hidden Insurance fee that was later placed on my Debit/ Credit card which was not explained to me upon arrival. My Visa was charged a holding fee of $170.00 and if you make the mistake of reserving for two room be aware that you will see two charges on you bank statement. Upon my concerned call, the staff was friendly and very helpful with my call. My only complaint is that the staff need to make customers aware of the Insurance holding charges, plus the time it takes for the charges to clear. If you visit this Inn, be sure to use cash only, especially if you are on a budget or in an emergency situation.

Room Tip: Be careful when making more than two reservations if you use a Visa or Debit Card. Be ready to have...

Very clean. Friendly staff. Central location, convenient to shopping, ball fields, downtown. Easy to find. Would definitely book again. Rooms are spacious, especially the suite rooms. Breakfast was good.
