I recently camped at this place with my boyfriend and I have to agree with the latest reviewers....the new owners must have made some major changes, because I didn't find any of the early negative reviews to be true...we had no problems...I mean, it is a campground, like the one review said, not a luxury hotel...and camping isn't for everyone...but as far as campgrounds go, I thought this was cool. There was plenty of hot water and sweet water pressure for my shower...which is important to me, stupid as that might sound on a camping trip...There's a pool and a gathering place where you can party with the other campers or not...we went down to the gameroom for a while and hung out with some of the seasonals and the owners, Frank and Linda. I had a great time...we listened to Patsy Cline on the Jukebox and just chilled...they're really down to earth and funny, awesome stories, very accepting, got along with everybody...I left there with a smile, feeling good, and isn't that what it's all about? This is definitely a great place to camp with kids...seems like you could catch sunnies all day in the lake and there's a playground and volleyball net by the pool...(very clean pool)...There are kid friendly games in the game room (Pacman!!!) along with pool and AIR HOCKEY! :) Again, new owners, new campground...I'll be going there again. Oh, and there's a big flea market close by and a cool candle place and I heard about a prezel factory that has Dr. Seuss-ish machines making the prezels...so, yeah...a good time for everyone...I would say give it a shot!
