“Beautiful park with lots of food and drink choices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

Visited the park for a night game of the Altoona Curve, but it was rained out. While waiting for the game to be called, we walked around to the various gift shops and both concourses to see what was offered. Their prices were reasonable, and the items we purchased were very tasty.

“Nice ballpark, great baseball experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

We have attended several baseball games at the Blair County Ballpark. It is always a good visit, regardless of your favorite team. I usually attend games here to when the Richmond Flying Squirrels , a SF Giants affiliate, play the Curve. Convenient parking, good food, excellent sight lines, and AA level baseball all combine for a good experience for a baseball fan. Ticket prices are reasonable, too (max price is $12).

The field is located very close to I-99. An array of mascots roam the park, and all of the crazy between-innings games and prizes typical of minor league baseball is part of this experience also. Enjoy the game at this first-rate facility.

Curve burger is a must have. Great place to watch baseball game. Almonds are always delicious. Hopefully the pirates can keep drafting good teams

“Baseball at its' Finest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

This is a GREAT forum to see a game! Parking is close, mascots are fun and there is not a bad seat in the house. My favorite mascot is Altuna - a fish that comes out of a hidden door in center field and dances each time the Curve scores. Since we live locally, we'll even stop by for a couple innings to grab dinner in the park for some fresh air and entertainment. This is a must on your to-do list when you visit Altoona.

“the straight goods”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

This is a terrific ballpark, lacking only in really close-up parking, and the cheeseburgs here match any we've ever had anywhere... even though, while waiting in line, fans in the stands were treated to a rare inside-the-park home run... through most of June, July and August, there's the additional sight of the Lakemont Park rollercoaster roaring through right field...
