My wife and I had to travel up to Allentown for an emergency and we stayed at this Comfort Suites (should be a rodeway inn). There is a really nice Holiday Inn Express that was just built next door but I went for price instead of look. ooops! The front desk person was at least awake and the hotel lobby seemed like the were not finished. The room was non-smoking and reaked of smoke. The bathroom was not very clean and the beds were fair at best. Thin sheets, thin comforter, flat pillows.
We went down to the attached Restaurant for dinner and it was basically an old sports bar.
Well after all that, we got up in the morning to have breakfast and the ceiling in the breakfast are was missing ceiling tiles and leaking everywhere. The young lady apologized which seemed heart felt. When we went to have cereal, the milk was warm and bagels were rock hard. We of course left and went to the dunkin donuts down the street.
Overall- I will choose the nice and new over the other!
