I visited on a Sunday evening. When we got to our table, the table was dirty, with water spills scattered across. We politely asked to have it wiped, and it was wiped. We thought nothing more of it. The waitress took more than half an hour to take our orders, and then when she finally began taking our orders, she was distracted by a man who had passed her by. She started a conversation with him in the middle of taking our order, and then left! Later, when she came back, we finally got our orders taken. When it was time for the bill, she brought us a bill that was $15 higher than what we had purchased, and when we asked why the difference, she realized her mistake and apologized, explaining that she had accidentally brought us the bill from the neighboring table. She swore that the transaction would not be recorded in my debit card, but as of today, BOTH transactions are on my card--the actual purchase and those of the neighboring table. I have called and spoken to an HR representative on the phone, who was supposed to get back to me yesterday, but as of today, still hasn't. I would have called her back yesterday, but I couldn't because I spent most of the day in the bathroom, sick with food poisoning. And I know that it was from Brew Works, because I ate nothing else (other than fruit) that day. So, I will call her today, since I'm feeling a bit better. My friend loves this place, but after my service that Sunday (and after the food poisoning), I'm not sure that I'll be back there again. It's a shame, because it really is a beautifully decorated place--truly aesthetically pleasing. By the way, I ordered the half rack ribs. I don't recommend that for anyone, as I am certain it was the source of my food poisoning.
