We stayed at Best Western Allentown 3 nights for a Dorney Park visit. PROS: nice, clean, new hotel, relatively large room with beautiful tile bathroom, decent complimentary breakfast, convenient to Dorney Park, restaurants, CVS and a gas station across the street. CONS: COLD indoor pool, tile bathroom floor slippery when wet, very noisy Tilghman Street location. We got very little sleep because of the heavy truck and motorcycle traffic all night long right outside our window. Would stay here again, but next time INSIST ON AN ODD NUMBERED ROOM AWAY FROM THE TILGHMAN STREET SIDE. Tip: ask for a TV channel guide when checking in. For good food, try Trivet Diner and Marconi's Italian take-out about 2 miles east on Tilghman Street.

Excellent brand new hotel having furniture and amenities of higher scale hotels with reasonable price! Go for it!

My family stayed at this hotel over the weekend of 4/13-4/15.

We had a great time, the hotel was clean in a really nice area and close to everything. We just wanted to get out of New York City for a few days and this was certainly a pleasure, from the moment we walked through the doors it was perfect.

The only down side was the rowdy children staying at the hotel, apparently there was a baseball tournament in the area and the kids staying on our floor kept running and opening doors (fire escape) etc. my husband spoke to them and it stopped for a while then a new batch of kids came along and did the same thing. It is a shame that parents cannot control and monitor there childrens activities so as not to disturb other paying patrons.

In all the stay was very pleasant, the complementary breakfast was more than what is normally offered at some hotels, it included eggs (fake) english muffins, mini muffins, bagels, pancakes, cereal, fruit tarts, 2 choice of juice, tea and coffee all fresh.

There is great shopping close at hand and a lot of opportunities for dining out.

A perfect retreat only hampered by the rowdy behaviour of some and the weather it rained all of Sunday. Like my husband said boys will be boys.

This is a great Hotel to stay, just over two months new!!
Rooms very accomandating & large, great wide screen TV, marble appointed bath fixtures. Everything was new and fresh smelling.
Staff very accomandating Asst Mgr Katie, took me on a tour of the rooms. Mgr Larry very friendly and gracious..
Stayed here twice in one month for busines. Extremely nice hotel.
Only comments to make on the downside are,: They still dont have morning newspapers & have to provide a few more breakfast items - i.e. Oatmeal, bananas - & keep in mind they are a new hotel and I was assured that they are listening to comments & I will return again.
If this is the direction Best Western is heading for future hotels, then this is the chain for me and my business! :)
