“Surprisingly quiet and affordable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2012

Very nice hotel with all the necessary amenties. Not very far from all the activities in Ashland. Easy on and off from the freeway. Room was comfortable, clean, updated and spacious. The Front Desk staff were very friendly and professional. The 24 hour pool and jacuzzi were a big plus for us as well as the early start breakfast. We will be staying here again when visiting family in Ashland.

My husband always stay at this hotel on our way to Seattle from LA. La Quinta is not the swankiest hotel in Ashland, but they don't hassle us about our two terriers, nor do they charge any more for dogs. The rooms are clean and well put together. We used our points last stay and our room was free. It's located off the main dragk, but that's okay with us. The breakfast room is very clean and they serve a decent variety of food including oatmeal and biscuits and gravy.

The La Quinta Inn at Ashland has been our selection to stay while viewing the plays produced by the OSF. The staff is profesional, courteous, and efficient. It is close to I5 and US 99 which make it efficient to get back and forth. It is also close to a Visitor's Center for Oregon which offers suggesitons for day trips and other recreational opportunities. The Ashland La Quinta Inn is ideally located for any trip to see southern Oregon.

Great place to stay. Quiet, convenient and clean. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast offered.

We booked here last minute as our other choices were full. Location was further out of town than we prefer, that said, we had a very pleasant stay! Room was quiet despite being located near the busy freeway, bedding was fresh and comfy. The indoor pool was inviting, clean and we had it to ourselves for a nice morning swim. Breakfast was pretty standard, seating was limited, noisy, but it fit our needs for a quick bite with coffee just fine. Budget priced, well below our other choices, booked online and were greeted warmly upon arrival. Front desk staff very pleasant and friendly. Not a choice for romantic ambiance, but a great family stay overall.

Room Tip: The basement rooms lack ambience, but we found them to be very quiet despite the hotel seeming quite...

Stayed here about 5 years ago, and found the rooms to be just OK, so I was nicely surprised to see that La Quinta has remodeled/updated their rooms. I also love that it's entirely non-smoking. I thought the beds and pillows were good, but maybe that's because I prefer a medium firm matress. Loved the bedding, with duvet covers so no ick factor with respect to bedspreads. The built in dishwasher, fridge, & microwave area gave us nice extra surface area, too, which was important, as 3 adults were sharing one room. And the room was even stocked with plates & silverware, again unexpected.
Good pretty standard yogurt/fresh fruit/waffle/toast/juice/coffee/hard boiled egg breakfast, which was very frequently re-stocked by efficient staff, who were especially hopping during the busy 8:00-9:00 am time slot. Rooms were clean and quiet, too! If only they could move the whole Inn a couple miles closer to OSF!

This hotel really tries. It does. The staff was coutious and friendly, the location is easy to get to, (Although far away from the reason anyone stays in Ashland.), and they have gone all Shakesperian of the decor. That being said, the beds were just no comfortable. The pillows were awful. The room was not clean. A large coffee stain in the ruffel that still smelled like spilled, stale coffee and a random red stain that could have been ketchup, could have been blood on the wall was a little off-putting. I won't be staying here again.
