“Awesome value for money”

Great place that's really trying hard to make it an awesome stay for those who come through. We stayed in a suite with a kitchenette for a week with a beautiful view of the rolling hills of Ashland. Clean facility, attentive staff and maid service, friendly atmosphere. Breakfast basket delivered to our door every morning. Very comfortable beds. Guest laundry facilities were helpful for us having been on the road for a while. Highly recommend for couples, families and business travelers.

Dear TripAdvisor Guest,
Thank you for taking your time to review your stay with us at The Ashland Hills Hotel.
Each of our staff members do everything they can to make sure our guests are comfortable and feel at home. We are lucky to have the property we do, not just for the views but it means more space for amenities such as our guest laundry area. Hopefully next time you are in the area and stay with us you can use one of our tennis courts, guest BBQ, and pool area.
Thank you again,
Ashland Hills Hotel

The girl at the front desk was quite nice and helpful. There was no extra charge for our dog and the king bed was comfy, with good bedding and 6 pillows! The living room was comfortable and the bedroom still large enough for us to put our huge dog bed next to our bed. They brought a small, continental breakfast with newspaper to our door in the morning. It was a very good value.

Room Tip: Our suite was in the back building and the back entrance opened onto a nice little courtyard. It was...

Dear TripAdvisor Guest,
We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. We get multiple calls a month asking about our beds that we just have to give it the extra comfort with 6 pillows. Our hotel is lucky in that we get to offer a variety of room types and sizes including our building of suite rooms where you can have a King bed, two Double beds or a Queen bed. They are definitely spacious enough for family; canine or human, and all the stuff that comes with traveling.
Thank you,
Ashland Hills Hotel

Driving up from California to Portland, we stopped overnight at this hotel, and it was perfect for our needs. Unfussy, clean, and offering all the necessary amenities and quiet for a restful night's sleep, before continuing our journey the next day.

We lucked out and enjoyed a ground floor suite by the courtyard far from the road. Almost no one else at the hotel so it was soooo nice and quiet! However, when there were a few other guests I could hear the usual doors closing in the halls etc. And the dog next door yipping when the owner left him unattended...

Beautiful grounds and nice staff.

Dear TripAdvisor Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel and to let us know how we are doing. I do apologize about the neighbor dog. We have all guests staying with pets sign a pet form which states pets cannot be left unattended, but unfortunately some just ignore that thinking their pet won’t make a peep. I do hope that it wasn’t such a bother that you couldn’t enjoy your stay, and that we get to see you on your next visit to Ashland.
Thank you again,

This is the most value for the money while traveling that we may have ever experienced. Here are some of the highlights:

Just around 100 dollars including pet.

Huge room... Big bath, extra vanity outside bath, lots of closet space, kitchenette, living room, bedroom, little patio. You could have extended stay here and be very comftable.

Very helpful and friendly staff.

Nice towels and bedding. King bed very comfortable.

High quality toiletries provided that are cruelty free and plant based which is a really nice touch.

Great location--good restaurants nearby, downtown not terribly far, and you can gas up and jump back on the freeway in a snap.

Very quiet and very clean with no weird hotel smells. Very bright and fresh . Lobby very neat in a retro way.

This place is an incredible deal--we were super happy to find it and will be back!

Dear TripAdvisor Guest,
It’s lovely to read your kind words and about how much you enjoyed your visit with us. Currently the majority of our rooms are suites which are 500 sq ft so there is plenty of room for everyone, pets included. The views from the rooms can sometimes make you forget how close you actually are to down town, and with the restaurants within walking distance, you don’t have to go. Though I always like to encourage it, Ashland is so beautiful and has so much to offer.
Our lobby has only been open for about 3 months now, with a throwback to when the hotel was first built in the late 70’s. For people who live in the area it brings back a lot of memories, and is relatable for people visiting for the first time.
We look forward to your future visits, and helping make memories of your own!
Thank you again,
Ashland Hills Hotel

Stayed here over a week this November. I think the most important thing about a hotel are the bed and pillows so AHH rates high here. What good is a hotel if you can't sleep due to a crummy bed. The view of the sunrise coming up over the hills from my bed was fabulous. Get a room facing East on the North East side of the hotel. We stayed in the suites building and enjoyed the continental breakfast each morning. Room was quiet, we heard no one in the halls or next door. The new lobby is funky in its 60's retro look--a nice place to hang out.

Dear TripAdvisor Guest,
Thank you for reviewing our hotel and letting us know how we did. We are pleased to see that you enjoyed your extended stay with us and that you found the lobby to be a welcoming place to spend some time. With the expansion of the new guest rooms, we hope that more guests utilize the lobby as well. There is a lot of space for reading, meeting friends or just escaping the rest of the family for a while. Rooms facing the Valley are always popular, so I would encourage you to ask for one when booking again and we will do what we can to make sure you get that request.
Thank you,
Ashland Hills Hotel

Only stayed one night but it was a winner! Upgraded to a suite in the back building. Clean, quiet, comfortable, easy access, with great restaurants within 5 minutes and fantastic brewery down the street. Plenty of parking. What more could you want?!

Dear TripAdvisor Guest,
We are pleased to see that you enjoyed your stay with us. Our suites rooms are very spacious and have some of the best views, but our new guest rooms are wonderful as well. Watching the rain on the pool from the balconies is very peaceful. One of the great things about Oregon is all the breweries we have. Ashland is lucky to have 2 local breweries and we are even luckier to have one just down the road.
Thank you,
Ashland Hills Hotel
