“Ashland Hills”

Comfy beds and pillows, could run air conditioner all night, not too loud, good water pressure, nice front desk. Great views. Very quiet.

Kitchen kit with bowls, plates, spoons, salt pepper, dish towels, eating utensils, free breakfast delivers to door.

Kitchenette has small fridge, microwaved, toaster.

The only problem was tons of light coming through edges of blackout curtains making it hard to sleep for my two boys.

The suite is probably the largest accommodation we have had in Ashland and is comfortable and clean. We thought we were getting a queen bed, but it seemed to be a double, therefore just a little cramped but otherwise comfortable. The breakfast basket is a nice touch. We were there for the Shakespeare festival and so would have liked to be closer, but we had no problems parking. We would consider staying here again.

We discovered Ashland Hills hotel two years ago and have stayed twice. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. There is plenty of room to spread out. It is nice to have a separate room to watch TV or use your computer. The kitchenette is very convenient. The breakfast is delivered to your room. Breakfast is not that great, but at least you can eat in your room, or make your own in the kitchenette. Depending on your room, you might even get a lovely bucolic view. We go to Ashland annually and plan making this our place to stay

Over the years we have stayed at this hotel both with the current and previous owners. It is perfect for travelers with pets with lots of walking area. The rooms are an excellent value, spacious and clean. We always stay here when visiting Ashland or traveling through. Anxious to see the renovations that will take place with new ownership.

If you are looking for a peaceful, well appointed and located welcoming hotel, this is it! Our suite room was comfortable and allowed my husband to snooze while I watched TV in a different room. Our big collie dog had plenty of room to run around, including a large, safe and well landscaped dog run area right behind our room. The accommodations were easily as good as other places we have stayed that cost twice as much.

The other reviewers who were spooked by the sprawling set of buildings at Ashland Hills just needed to walk around to see what the buildings were---well tended but not used additional parts of the hotel. The place is not at full occupancy, but that is part of the draw. I for one hope it never gets fully discovered!

We are sure to come here again. In our drives from the North Bay of CA up to Eugene OR, AHH is an excellent midway stop on the drive north.

Room Tip: Ask for the kitchen box. It has glasses, plates, silverware and even cloth napkins. It made our tak...

Although this hotel isn't right downtown it's close enough and very convenient for the I5 (no hwy noise either) When entering the complex don't be put off by the "closed for business" section the hotel is undergoing renovations, having been taken over by another Ashland hotel. At the moment there are just 75 rooms being utilised. An all suite hotel, with spacious, clean accommodation, comfortable beds, kitchen facilities set in surprisingly quiet 14 acres of grounds given the close proximity to the busy freeway. Staff are friendly and helpful.

This hotel provides excellent value for money, although the complimentary breakfast basket could be improved, also providing some basic crockery and kitchen utensils would make better use of the kitchenette, but for cleanliness and comfort you cannot go wrong.

This is our favorite hotel in Ashland. The rooms are large with a separate siting area which is great if one person prefers to stay up later than the other. Microwave and refrigerator are good for keeping and warning snacks. Bathrooms are large. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness is excellent. As the motel is at the south end of town its very quiet and has a lovely view of the hills. You are about 3 miles from downtown so you do need transportation. The site is bicycle friendly and just a couple of blocks from a paved trial that goes into the railroad district of Ashland. From there you can connect to the Bear Creek Greenway and ride on the paved bike path along Bear Creek to Medford.

Room Tip: You have a better view from the 3rd floor rooms and no one above you.
