Though this is one of the oldest B&B's in Ashland, it is kept up to date and current. The rooms may be small but are cozy, clean, warm and inviting. Ours even had its own private entrance. The breakfasts were delicious and original, many coming from the hostess' personal published cookbook. The staff was courteous and always available. The B&B is located within walking distance of the plays so we were able to leave our car parked for our whole visit. The owner is very open to feedback and is genuinely concerned about how to improve our stay. We will definitely stay at the Chanticleer Inn during our next visit to Ashland.
