After reading some of the other reviews here we were hesitant to book a room here but decided to give it a try, and am I glad we did. The staff was welcoming and extremely helpful. The room was a great size for a family, well decorated and comfortable. The peanut butter cookies, wine and cheese were a nice afternoon bonus, and like some other reviewers, we weren't expecting fine dining for a freebie so we thought it was very good and a nice touch. Breakfast was fantastic and the fact that it is included makes it a very good deal. Yes the water smells like sulfur BECAUSE IT'S FRESH MINERAL WATER. Some other reviewers just don't seem to get the concept. The tubs are more than adequate and my skin felt fresh and smooth after just one day here between the bath and shower.

They will be adding a market here at some point in the future and having some fine dining, something to look forward to. The staff seemed genuinely concerned about our thoughts and how to improve the hotel in the future. Do not expect a luxury resort but for the price I highly recommend it, we were very happy.

Just what we needed. As two working parents, this was just what we needed. Charming, relaxing and attentive and helpful staff. The cottage was charming, the evening wine and cheese tasting well organized. The staff was helpful in setting up our side by side massage as well as the wine tour the next day. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Lithia Springs Resort of Ashland is a pearl in the ocean of B&B’s in and surrounding Ashland.. As soon as we opened the front door it was as if we walked into a wonderful paradise that around every corner was all a person needed or could dream of to make their stay special. We will treasure our wonderful memories of feeling right at home. And the big calico cat welcoming us at the door was just another fond experience that will bring us back again and again.

“Great Stay In December”

Lithia Springs Resort of Ashland

I travel for business, and visit the Rogue Valley on a regular basis. I have discovered the Lithia Springs Inn. I stayed there in December and was greeted by a wonderfully decorated, holiday themed, facility. When I arrived I was welcomed warmly and directed to the peanut-butter cookie jar located in the lobby. With a cookie in my belly, the directions to my room, and a note regarding the special mineral waters - I was on my way.

When I arrived at my room the fireplace was lit, the lights were on and soft music was playing – I knew they had been expecting me. What a great feeling when you are done with a long day. My room was a suite nestled in one of the common wall cottages. The center courtyard of the cottages features a gazebo and great landscaping. I didn’t hear any of the other guests, but I could tell they were there due to the number of cars in the parking lot.

When I showered I noticed the smooth texture, and slight fragrance of the water. The next morning at breakfast I met another guest who told me that she comes to the Inn regularly to relax, read and experience the “wonderful water.” The water can have a fragrance, and if you are not aware of it, it could be a concern. (Perhaps the other reviewer didn’t get the same info that I received.)

They also have the Water Tower suite that I have booked to bring my wife too for one of their romantic weekends. Spa services were available through a local supplier and I was offer massage services for a reasonable price.

My breakfast was wonderful, consisting of a buffet selection of warm entrees, cereals, fresh baked pastries, fresh barriers with yogurt and coffee, juice, milk. I ate until I was full and spent some additional time at my table preparing for the sales day.

I have made Lithia my new base of operations for when I am in the Rogue
Valley.

My husband and I stayed one night at Lithia Springs and want to recommend it to any one planning to stay in Ashland OR. Private cottage atmosphere, double juccuzi tub in the room, great food , good prices and accomodations- easy access right off the I-5 freeway. Wish we would have booked our whole vacation there!!
