“Best place in Ashland!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2004

I've stayed at Arden Forest Inn for the last five years during my annual trip to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Everything about this place is magical! The details in the rooms (snuggly beds, inviting decorations, inviting treats) are just outstanding. The gourmet breakfasts are rave-worthy. And the library of books is amazing! The pool is always the perfect temperture and the gardens are beyond compare. Our hosts are always lively and full of information on the festial and the area.

We have been going to Ashland to see play for over 25 years . Without doubt, Arden Forest innkeepers, Bill and Corbet run the best B&B in town. We love their breakfasts where guest and hosts talk theater over fruit platters, French toast and hot coffee. But be warned, if you aren't a theater buff, this may not be for you. The talk is usually about plays, theater, and Ashland local gossip--and it usually lasts for two hours. We love it!

Special note: One of our party is in a wheel chair, which is no problem at Bill and Corbet's as it is very accessible. For walkers, Arden Forest is about four blocks from the theater.

Occasionally, a guest turns out to be a playwright or theater professional, which makes for a special treat. The rooms are extra clean, and Bill's garden will knock your socks off. Again: This is the best in Ashland.

My daughter and I were returning from a roadtrip to Sacramento and with Trip Advisor's help found a little bit of heaven in Ashland. The Arden Forest Inn's hosts, Bill & Corbet, made our two night stay-over a treat. The banter (and the information/education regarding the plays that were running) at the breakfast table with the regular clientele and the hosts was a wonderful way to start the day. The Inn was so cute, the breakfast always fantastic, and the experience - a joy!

The Arden Forest Inn in Ashland Oregon is quite simply the best!! The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the gardens are close to magical and there is a lovely pool for you to enjoy as well. the breakfast is of the best quality and served in a dining room full of good cheer, laughter and great discussions of the plays you will be seeing. You will want to return again and again. Your innkeepers, Bill and Corbet, will treat you like you are special and you will find that you feel special in their company. You may even meet an actor at breakfast once in awhile. Trust us...you will love this place and willingly spend your time in it! Mary Jane Conley and Charles R. Schmuck
