We stayed at the Albion Inn in Ashland, Oregon. We enjoyed our stay there. Syd is a charming host. She also cooks excellent breakfasts and always has chocolate chip cookies on the buffet!!
The rooms are delightful a and the beds are very comfortable. All in all, a lovely experience.

This was our fist Bed and Breakfast experience in Ashland, and it was a great one. We had one of the garden rooms adjacent to the main house. The folks in the room next door had a dog with them. Cyd, our innkeeper, made it very clear that if we were at all bothered by the dog barking, we should inform her at once and she would remedy the situation. As it was, the dog never made a peep, and, in fact, turned out to be a charming and very well behaved guest. Our room was clean, well-appointed and blessedly air-conditioned in the nearly 100 degree heat. Cyd served a delicious breakfast, and encouraged a lively conversation among guests around the breakfast table. The gardens are a lovely spot to sip a cup of tea or a glass of wine in the evening. In all, a positive experience from beginning to end.

Just back from one of many stays here. Comfortable, clean, friendly and breakfasts are great. Yes, pet freindly, but confined to the cottages adjacent to the house. I am allergic to cats and dogs, have never had an issue staying in the main house. The room we stay in now has a terrific king bed with a firm, foam type mattress. I have a bad back, and this bed was just the ticket. You are a block from Safeway where you can buy some wine, cheese and kill some time in the very pleasant garden, a favorite activity of ours. The main drag is a short walk. Many lodging choices in Ashland and we have been at most. Albion is the one we choose to return to year after year.

We were attracted to the Albion Inn on Trip Advisor, not just for the rave reviews, but also for the innkeepers' posted responses to their guests' comments. To us, this revealed a real interest in their business and a genuine concern for their guests' experiences. I said to my husband, "I want to stay in a place where the innkeepers obviously care about what people say about their visit there." And we were not disappointed. In fact, we absolutely fell in love with the Albion Inn and can't imagine staying anywhere else in Ashland. Cyd and Gary are marvelous hosts, and their inn is one of the most comfortable, serene, gracious places we've ever stayed. Our room, just off the lovely garden, was roomy, charming, and private, with our own little patio for sipping wine in the late afternoon. However, more fun was had lounging in the garden, visiting with Ashland friends, and meeting fellow travelers. I can't say enough about Cyd, our hostess, who is a generous, gregarious, marvelous storyteller, chef, sage, savant, cat savior, and doggie wrangler. She is a hoot. I'm not an early riser, but I couldn't miss out on Cyd and her incredible breakfasts: homemade papaya scones, Greek egg scrambles, fabulous fruit smoothies, yummy vegetable quiches, berry waffles, strong coffee, and -- she and her guests will understand the reference -- Slinky "donuts." What a marvelous inn, complete with wonderful people and pets! The Albion Inn has our highest recommendation.
